Thai Phou
Physician Assistant
Thai Phou PA-C is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in orthopaedic surgery. He joined Pacific Coast Orthopaedics Institute in 2012 working closely with Dr Ninh assisting in surgery and seeing patients in the office. Thai is well versed in all facets of orthopaedic care ranging from trauma, sports medicine, to joint reconstruction. Thai completed his undergraduate education at University of
California at Riverside with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology and furthered his education at Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science where he completed his Physician Assistant study.
Melissa Lozano, PA-C
Physician Assistant
Melissa Lozano is a board certified physician assistant specializing in orthopaedic surgery. She grew up in Monterey, California and attended Sonoma State University for her undergraduate education. In 2010 Melissa completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Soon after, in 2013, Melissa earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Degree at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California.
Mrs. Lozano has a well-rounded training as a physician assistant with a focus in orthopaedic surgery including sports medicine, trauma and joint replacement surgery. Melissa continues to further her education by attending annual orthopaedic surgery conferences. She has worked closely with Dr. Christopher Ninh for nearly 5 years. Mrs. Lozano strives to create a positive healing environment for her patients with treatment plans that allow for optimal recovery.
